Trailer
City revival meetings, Virginia Beach, Virginia
What do you do with the poor, unwanted city residents who live in
a trailer city filled with crime and hopelessness. In 1996, trailer city, Virginia
Beach had 170 felony arrests. In that same year God called Larry and Lynne Zotzmann,
who had recently been touched in our revival meetings in Kill Devil Hills, NC, to
minister to this hurting community, and Trailer Church (named by the residents) was
birthed.
Through their ministry, the Lord began to touch the lives of the
residents and there has been a significant change. In 1997 there were 130 felony
arrests and in 1998 the figure dropped to about 90 and in 1999 there were only about a
dozen. Take that which is bad and neglected by society, add the
sweetness of Jesus to it and you have change. Then add the wine of the Spirit which
brings the joy of the Lord and you have the pictures that tell everything below.
We were on our way up to New York and decided to visit our old
home city of Virginia Beach. When Lyn and Larry heard we were coming, they asked us
if we would do meetings in Trailer City. We immediately agreed and another
"SUDDENLY" of the Holy Spirit took place. The place only seats about 40
and with teenagers and kids sitting on the floor we ministered to a packed Trailer Church.
