Answer to Frequently Asked Question # Four

Can revival happen in churches other than Pentecostal & Charismatic Churches.

There are the signs of revival fire spreading to other churches. The Holy Spirit has not only been sent to one denomination. God's wave of revival fire, is spreading right accross denominational boudries and international borders. We have been in a Methodist, Southern Baptist, Presbyterian and Episcopalian church. Recently we completed an excellent revival in an American Baptist church in Michigan. In England, the major part of the revival took place in the Anglican or Church of England denomination.

According to the prophecy of the Prophet Joel (Joel 2) and related by the Apostle Peter in Acts 2:19 "... in the last days, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh..." God is no respecter of persons and wants to touch the world with His power. But the key is, people must want revival. It comes to those who have a desire for revival. Churches and church leaders, need to be open to revival, and be willing for God to come with His mighty flood.

Isaiah 42:18 & 19 says " Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it springs forth. Shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. "

Jesus said in John 7:38 "If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink, and out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." The belly here speaks of the spirit of man. The Holy Spirit is the river He is referring to.
