God says : I give you wisdom.

I Corinthians 1:30 "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:"

The Lord is our source of wisdom.   Have you heard people say, there is a wise head on old shoulders.  Meaning with age comes wisdom.

But for the Christian, wisdom does not only belong to the old.   It is true that when you have been through life, you learn much wisdom.  But I have seen old people who lack so much wisdom and I have seen young people even in their teens, displaying much wisdom.

Why is that? you ask.   Because wisdom comes from God and when you spend time in His presence, that wisdom begins to be imparted to you.  Suddenly your understanding and judgment are tempered by the wisdom of the Lord.

God will impart to you much wisdom in dealing with life's affairs.  You will not be left alone to try to work things out.  You can learn to draw on the wisdom of God.

Of course there is also the gift of the Word of Wisdom.   That gift is given by the Holy Spirit and is related to ministry.  When you are ministering to people, a lot of your learned wisdom can be imparted.  But often you need divine impartation, and that comes through the gift of wisdom.  It is a sudden impartation of God's divine wisdom coming out of you that will often surprise even you.

Let the wisdom of God flow in you and through you to help you  in you life and to help others who are in need.
